Newport is a city of many contrasts. A small historic river town with a thriving urban core made up of unique and well defined neighborhoods. It has a wealth of history, exclusive, distinct attractions as well as a bustling main street district and progressive business complexes. The recent renaissance taking place in Newport called for a refreshed identity that would effectively represent the development and influx of new residents and businesses that was taking place.

We designed a new logo mark and graphic system for the city to use across all digital and print marketing and communications. The logo illustrates the many distinctive parts and pieces coming together as one. It is built from a classic style made of individual blocks and colors unified as one shape symbolizing one unified community.
