Social Media Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for a talented Social Media Marketing Coordinator to help the creative team maintain a strong online presence for our company and our clients. This role is to help implement online marketing strategies through relevant digital and social media accounts.

As a Social Media Marketing Coordinator, you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote the brands we work with. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web and social media traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client projects and relationships as it pertains to social media marketing
  • Research audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Create audit and analysis reports as it pertains to social media
  • Create and implement social media marketing strategies
  • Work with the design team to create and procure engaging text, image and video content
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
  • Measure and report web and social media traffic, campaign results and analytics 
  • Stay up-to-date with changes and trends in all social media platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to inquiries
  • Report online reviews and feedback from customers and followers
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, such as promotions and competitions

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Coordinator
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Ability to deliver creative content (i.e. text, image and video)
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Project and client relationship management experience
  • Ability to understand future trends in digital technologies and be proactive in implementing these trends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multitasking and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Informatics or relevant field
  • Graphic design skills are a plus
  • Working knowledge of Adobe creative suite applications is a plus
