Pompilio’s

A long time client of The Think Shop, Pompilio’s set the bar for authentic family Italian cuisine around the region. The proprietors of the 1933 Northern Kentucky landmark restaurant challenged us to raise their bar with a menu and retail packaging redesign to convey the true spirit of the restaurant.

The menu design reflects the history of the restaurant and the many generations of family that created it, while conveying the look and feel of old Italy. The idea of a family gathering for a meal, a tradition lost by many today, was a key aspect they wanted to convey throughout the menu. The warm, but unique color palette reflects on a traditional Italian feel. Pompilios provided some original old black and white photos to represent the importance of family and history.
